Photo Diary: Exploring Utah’s National Parks

Bryce Canyon Overlook

In the States, camping and exploring the US National Parks is a quintessential American holiday. Whether you pile in to a rented RV with the whole family. Or road trip with a bunch of friends, it makes for amazing memories and a good time. This past summer, we had the absolute best time making new memories by exploring three of Utah’s National Parks with family and friends.

Over Memorial Day weekend, we went camping with some friends in Moab and explored Arches National Park. After a couple days in Arches, we were left wanting to explore more of Utah’s National Parks. So when my mother-in-law mentioned that the family wanted to go to Vegas over Labor Day, I suggested we add on Bryce Canyon Zion. Luckily to my little hearts content, they too wanted to explore Utah’s National Parks! So off we went and I got to say, these parks are some of the most beautiful, unique and interesting places on Earth.

  • Absolutely gorgeous! One of my friends is there right now and even in Winter the scenery is beautiful. Definitely high up on my list of places to visit.

Amazing. this seems like one of those very American things I would dream of doing when I was younger. Looks like an awesome trip 🙂

  • Wow, did you manage all of this in three days? I keep saying that I’m going to go to Zion. Maybe next year… thanks for the gorgeous photos! #FlyAwayFriday

Oh I loved this post! I lived in Utah for a year and half. It is one of my most favorite states. Great photos. This was a walk down memory lane so thank you! #flyawayfriday

  • I wish I explored Utah more when I visited for business – the parks look amazing! For some reason I thought there was 1 “Arch” in Arches National Park…not 2000!

  • National Parks are so fun. We want to explore more of them after our trip to Cuyahoga Valley NP in Ohio this fall. We’re definitely planning on going to at least one of those in Utah the next time we visit- whenever that is. #FlyAwayFriday

Stunning photographs – although I have explored the west and east coasts of USA (well the cities mainly) I have yet to see any of the national parks! Need to remedy that – they look spectacular! #FlyAwayFriday

These photographs are absolutely stunning. Getting an RV and doing the classic American Road Trip is something we would love to do one day. We made it to see the Grand Canyon this time round but we’ll be adding Utah’s National Parks to our ‘To Do’ list for sure! #FlyAwayFriday

I cannot tell you how excited I was to read this article and see your photos! I recently did my own little road trip of Utah and visited Arches, Zion and Bryce (along with some others) and absolutely fell in total love with Utah. It is such a special place. Your photos brought be back and made me smile a lot! Happy #FlyAwayFriday!

I have visited a lot of the US National Parks, but somehow always seem to miss Utah. Your photos make it look incredible. You could be the only person in the world out there. Thanks for the holiday inspo 🙂

  • Utah is such a beautiful state. I’ve been to Arches, but I can’t wait to visit the other national parks in Utah. None of my roadtrips thus far have taken me in the right direction, but I hope to see these parks soon. #FlyAwayFriday

  • The pictures are SO beautiful! I need to get to Utah, I’ve always wanted to! I love that you brought Phoebe too!! xo
