Hey guys! Happy Friday!! I feel like this has been one of the longest weeks ever. Cam has been both teething and struggling with the four month sleep regression. So with those combined, it makes for one tired mama. So I’m definitely looking forward to this weekend and hopefully getting some rest. Since our little man is down for a nap (let’s hope for longer than 30 minutes!!), I can finally recap our amazing stay with Glamping Hub at this magical cabin up in Nederland, Colorado.
Glamping Hub in Colorado, our majestic mountain getaway
When Glamping Hub reached out to do a collaboration, I was thrilled! Josh and I have been making a conscious effort to make lasting memories with our little family. We have spent the summer exploring various mountain towns of Colorado and have had such a blast doing so. I mean, Colorado in the summertime is just breathtaking.
So when we were looking at places to stay, this magical cabin in Nederland just stood out to us. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Nederland, it’s about 20 miles west of Boulder. The drive up is just stunning and follows the Boulder Creek. Nederland is a cute and quirky little town and the cabin has recommendations on where to eat in town and what to do!
Back to the cabin, we both loved the look and feel it. The cabin just looked so homey, like it would be the perfect place to hide out for a couple of days. The decor also had this boho/Free People kinda vibe to it that I naturally gravitate towards. So once we got our stay confirmed with Roxanne (who is the absolute sweetest by the way), we were so excited to head up to Nederland and begin our getaway to the mountains!
First off, this has got to be the cutest cabin we have ever stayed in. Like I mentioned earlier, the decor and aesthetics are very boho and earthy – which I think matched the surroundings perfectly. It feels warm and inviting. It was perfect in the summer and I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the winter. The cabin itself is also very eco-friendly and sustainable, which both Josh and I loved!
The cabin is off a dirt road about two miles away from town. I loved the semi-remote location because it was far enough away where you can feel a million miles away. Yet, you are only about a 5 minute (or so) drive away from town. You are surrounded by beautiful trees and can see the stars twinkling at night. There are windows in the ceilings which makes it so ideal for star gazing.
Since the weather was perfect over Labor Day Weekend, we spent the majority of our time just sitting on the patio, BBQing and taking in the beautiful scenery. It was simply gorgeous.
Once we arrived to the cabin, we really didn’t need to leave. It was fully stocked to make you feel at home. The kitchen was filled with supplies: pots, pans, plates…you know it. This worked out so well for us since we did a run to Whole Foods before coming up and picked up some quality food to make some yummy meals. There is a BBQ on the front porch so we could enjoy a meal outside or a beautiful breakfast nook where we enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast.
Since we had planned to stay at the cabin, it was so nice that it was also filled with amazing books, games, puzzles, and cable tv (not to mention wifi!) So even if you want to get away somewhere remote, you still feel connected and have the comforts of home. I mean, this is why I love glamping! You’re still connecting with nature, yet it’s comfortable and you’re not roughing it. It was perfect for our little family and little Cam!
Another thing that we loved about the cabin was all the unique touches. From the old wood burning fire place to the claw footed tub, it was perfect! It fit our family and Phoebe so comfortably. It had a total of two beautiful bedrooms and one bathroom. Perfect for a family getaway or a romantic escape to the mountains.
We loved our experience with Glamping Hub and highly recommend it! There are so many incredible options across the world. From tree houses in the Pacific Northwest to beautiful beachfront properties in Mexico, you can find something for every kind of traveler!
Hope you guys have a great weekend and enjoy the last little bits of summer!
